Join us as we kick off the inaugural annual Design Palo Alto co-hosted by Arhaus in their new Showroom in Palo Alto.

Sabra will showcase how design can tell a story, whether through cultural elements, personal narratives, or artistic expression, making each space unique and full of character. The art of storytelling in design is about more than just creating beautiful surfaces or practical floor plans. It’s about crafting experiences that resonate on a deeper level, creating emotional connections and leaving lasting impressions.

Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served as we celebrate the regions newest design festival.

About Sabra Ballon:

With a background in set design for film, Sabra Ballon, founder of ballonSTUDIO, approaches interior design with a unique storytelling perspective. Her work blends architecture and narrative, creating spaces that not only look stunning but also tell a personal, compelling story. Drawing on over two decades of experience, Sabra seamlessly merges form and function, designing interiors that reflect her clients’ lives and aspirations.

Sabra was born and raised in Palo Alto, and her studio is San Francisco based. Her projects range from bespoke residences to high-end commercial and hospitality spaces, each informed by her global travels and love of art and nature. Her film-trained eye for detail ensures that every space is as layered and thoughtful as a scene from a movie—immersive, elegant, and deeply personal. Whether crafting a modern penthouse or a cozy restaurant, Sabra’s designs invite clients to live within their own stories, each space a reflection of who they are and what’s important and inspiring to them.
